Don’t miss the smooth sounds of this country music family Jan 11-12. Mel Tillis began his career as a songwriter in the 1950s. In the 1970s, he enjoyed a string of No. 1 hits, in cluding / Ain 't Never, Good Woman Hlues, Heart Healer, Coca Cola Cow hoy and Southern Rains. The Country Music Association (CMA) named him Entertainer of the Year in 1976, the same year he was inducted into the Nashville Song writer’s Hall of Fame. Through the years, he also established himself as a successful comedic actor, appearing in such films as The Dixie Dancekings and Cannonhall Run with Burt Reynolds. Pam Tillis also enjoyed success as a songwriter prior to her performing accomplishments. During the 1980s, her songs were recorded by Highway 101, Chaka Khan, Juice Newton and Conway Twitty, among others. She recorded several gold and platinum albums including Sweet hearts Dance, which included the No. 1 hit Mi Vida Loca (My Crazy Life), and in 1994 won the CM A Female Vo calist of the Year award. Her acting resume includes appearances on Broadway and in television programs such as Touched By An Angel. PULL-TAB WEEK- During the week of January 20th thru the 24th we will have the losing pull-tab drawing. All losing pull-tabs can be placed into the drawing drum and after the final game of the session we will draw out five pull-tabs. The first winner will receive $25; the next winner will receive $15; and the final three winners will receive $10. RUBBER DUCKY DAY-January 13th is the 37th anniversaiy of the Rubber Ducky Song. During the matinee session we will give out special rubber ducks to all who buy in and if you spend at least $60 you will receive a plush Ernie doll to go with your rubber ducky. GET EVEN WITH THE CALLER DAY-Tuesday the 8th and 22nd in January, any single winner on Double Action, Indian Star, CW Progressive, Bonanza, and Odd/Even will get a chance to win extra prizes with our punch out board. Multiple winners will win a set prize amount. PICK-A-FLOAT-During both sessions on January 2nd, 16th, and 30th, we will be having an Indian Star Special.
