TRIBAL PROGRAM NEWS 2007 STYLE Spring Basketball Tournament April 28-29, 2007 • Siletz Valley School hy Angela Martin First of all, a thank you goes out to our housing resident youth - Kyle Wallace, Jeff Sweet, Jon Benedict, Chelsea Wawrak, Clarinda Black, Aaron Wawrak, Alexis Metcalf, Kaetlin Bayya, Mark Tom, Brittany Payne and Regina Thielen - and our community youth — Brittany Klish and Chelsea Stokes - for their hard work at this year’s Spring Basketball Tournament. All of the players gave their best and showed good sportsmanship. Our coaches did wonderful too. First place players received STYLE jackets, second place players received STYLE fleece jackets, and third place players received STYLE hooded sweat ers; most valuable players (MVP) received our tribal design Pendleton blankets; and all-stars received STYLE duffle bags. Thank you goes out to Doc Dockstader and Charlie Black, who cooked during this event; Charlie Butler for stepping in to referee; Siletz Valley School for the use of the gym; and our current STYLE board - Jenifer Metcalf (direc tor), Chuvonne Metcalf (treasurer), Rachelle Endres (treasurer), and Deanna Pearl.
