TRIBAL PROGRAM NEWS workshop li e r e Register Now for Future S.T.A.N. Workshops If you haven’t signed up for Siletz. Tribal Action Network (S.T.A.N.) workshops, you are missing a great opportunity to learn new things and improve your skills. S.T.A.N. workshops offer a variety of classes that will help you develop your self-confidence and prepare yourself for the future. All classes begin at 6 p.m., are two hours long, and are held in the S.T.A.N. Training Center located in the Siletz Tribal Business Corporation office, 2120 NW 44,h St., Suite D in Lincoln City, Ore. Even if it has been a long time since you have been in school or taken a class, S.T.A.N. workshops allow students to learn at their own pace in a relaxed environment. Upcoming classes include: Aug. All S.T.A.N. workshops are free to Siletz Tribal members, spouses, and children over age 16. There is a $10 charge per work shop for Chinook Winds Casino Resort and Confederated Tribes of Siletz Indians employees (non-tribal). There is a $20 charge per workshop for all other participants. Funds for the baskets came from the Siletz Tribal Charitable Contribution Fund. The $796 grant paid for the baskets, iron hangers for the poles, and a portable water tank for watering the baskets. S.T.A.N Program Now Open to Community Residents The Siletz Tribal Action Network (S.T.A.N.) recently opened participa tion in S.T.A.N. workshops to com munity residents as well as Siletz Tribal members, Chinook Winds Casino Resort and Confederated Tribes of Siletz Indians employees. S.T.A.N. workshops focus on personal and skill development and offer a variety of opportunities to learn and improve skills. All workshops are two hours long and begin at 6 p.m. at the S.T.A.N.
