The facility will house exercise pro grams, education classes, and offices for two Diabetes program staff. We want your input! Two commu nity meetings are planned to get your input into the building design and equipment. They are scheduled for June 26 at 12:30 p.m. in the tribal ad ministration building lunchroom (lunch will be served) and at 6 p.m. at the Tribal Community Center (Govern ment Hill; a light snack will be served). In addition, if you want to be on a small committee to assist in planning the Tribal Diabetes Fitness Center, please contact Marci Garrett at 541 -444-9671 or I-800-648-0449. ext. 1671. Dave Hatch and Jo Ann Miller receive blankets of thank yous from Bud Lane, Robert Kentta, and the rest of the council for their years on the Tribal Council. On May 7, Bud Lane, Sally Jennings, and Bruce McCain turned over the first patches of ground for the new Siletz Library (above). This followed Bud's blessing of the ground the library will stand on. Cement for the foundation was being poured on May 1 7 (right) as work progressed on the new building. Stop hv and see the changes daily.
