Celiyah Shaunte Covington was
born Nov. 2, 2005, to Danielle Payne
and Levar Covington. She weighed 6
pounds, 1 I ounces.
Brother Larell, Grandma Pam,
Aunties Chyann and Ticey, and Uncle
Zeb all welcome you to the world.

The Portland Area Education
Program would like to recognize
Sarah Hull, a fifth-grader at East
Gresham School.
Sarah not only is an honor roll stu­
dent at her school, she also has been
appointed as “self manager," a “life
skill leader,” and a “peer mediator.”
She also has been chosen first in her
school in a nationwide Knowledge
Ma’ster Competition.
Sarah’s parents are extremely
proud of their oldest daughter and her
tribal community also is very proud of
what a wonderful young person she is.
She was one of the first graduates i the first year of the Siletz Tribal Head
Start program in Southeast Portland. Si has participated in many of our tribal
youth activities and helps her mom with her younger siblings.
Sarah, we wish you the very best!
Butler Makes Honor Roll
Congratulations to Ronald B. But­
ler Jr. for making the honor roll at
Logsden Christian School.
In his most recent student progress
report, he earned an “excellent” rating
for “ability to establish own goals” and
“achieves goals for the quarter.”
He also earned a “good” rating in
several areas, including “does not dis­
turb others,” “exhibits self-control,”
“shows respect for authority,” and
“shows creativity.”
Congratulations, Ronald, for re­
ceiving that “High Honors” seal on
your progress report.
