RESTORATION Above: Dancing Again Singers Above, right: Head Start students and staff Left: Healyah Hunt Middle, left: Saul Jurado Middle, right: A women's traditional dancer Below, right: The Apache Crown Dancers from Chemawa Indian School Thanks for a Great Restoration by Tina Retasket Marcie Taylor, Bobby Brandt, and Brenda Howell for helping me load up and transport all those boxes and things for the Restoration event; Delores Pigsley, Rosemary Landis, Don Pigsley, Cora Lundy, Ann Donat, Amy Garrett, Marcie Taylor, Brenda Howell, and Bobby Brandt for helping to stuff the lunch boxes for giveaway at Restoration; Chinook Winds for the donation of bottled water, commemorative coins, and necklaces to put in the lunch boxes; Marcie Taylor, Diane Rodriquez, Natasha Kavanaugh, and Michele Metcalf for helping out with the registration tables; Natasha Kavanaugh and Diane Rodriquez for their wonderful picture display; Robert Kentta and Selene Rilatos for the culture room across the hall from the main event; Robert Kentta for speaking at the Res toration event; Nick Sixkiller for emceeing the event; DeAnn Brown, Robin Limbert, all the Head Start staff and parents - and mostly, all the Head Start kids - for their wonderful performance; Siletz Tribal elders and Angela Ramirez for making the beautiful center pieces for the tables; All of the Pow-Wow Committee and volunteers who took care of the pow-wow portion of the Restora tion celebration, especially Kelley Ellis and Tami Miner; Cascade Sound for providing the mi crophones and sound system for the Restoration event and pow-wow; And, a great big thank you to Chinook Winds banquet, kitchen, and main tenance staff for all their hard work in meeting all our space and food needs throughout the event. If I missed anyone, I sincerely apolo gize. So many people always work behind the scenes for any event of this size, but no one should be missed to say thank you for all the hard work.
