Some of them were given to participants in Lincoln City’s third annual Bicycle Safety Class. Barbara Kellar, Guest Services supervisor, hands out beads at the Lincoln County Fair. She’s one of many casino staff members who help the Marketing team at the 40 fairs and festivals it will exhibit at this year. They are available in one-cent, two-cent, five-cent, and 10-cent denominations. Three different styles of machines exist within these 44 machines, with 14 different game themes. Reel Power or 243 style machines are available as one-cent machines in the following game titles: Pompeii, Wicked Winnings, and High Noon. Generic MKVI games (similar to Penny Train machines) are available as 10-cent machines in the following game titles: Double Dolphins, Scatter Magic, Eagle Rock, Mystic Arrow, and Money Tree. They’re available as five-cent machines in the following game titles: Double Dolphins, Eagle Rock, Follow $ P MW P the Stars, Pirates, and Mystic Arrow. They’re available as two-cent machines in Eagle Rock, Follow the Stars, Pirates, Mystic Arrow, and Money Tree; and one-cent machines in Scatter Magic. Mr. Cashman series games feature a Mr. Cashman bonus feature that’s a new random bonus product that through an extra ante allows the player to expe rience the following five bonus features: • • • Poker Machine - You win the revealed bonus prize of up to 999 credits multiplied by the bet per line on the game that started Mr. Cashman. Random Bonus - Watch Mr. Cashman give you a bonus prize! The highest available random prize is the top scorecard prize times 10 multiplied by the bet per line on the game that started Mr. Cashman. Choose a Feature - Touch the money bag to win up to 1,000 credits multiplied by the bet per line on the game that stared Mr. Cashman, or touch the gift box to win 20, 15, 10, or five free games • • during which all prizes are mul tiplied by two, three, or five times. Random Spin - Mr. Cashman randomly spins one or more reels, then all wins are paid as per scorecard and multiplied by three, five, or 10 times. Match the Prize - Touch the stars until two matching prizes have been revealed. You win that prize, up to 1,000 credits multiplied by the bet per line on the game that stared Mr. Cashman, or 40,20,10, or five free games during which wins will be multiplied by one, two, three, or five times respectively. Reel Power or 243 series games allow all winning symbols to play as scatters throughout the screen. When all reels are played, the player has up to 243 ways to win. Each game title has different bonus features that are unique to that particular game. Employees can play all these new machines, so come on down to the gaming floor and check them out. So far, these machines are off to an overwhelming response. It’s time to leave the stress of the world behind and fly. This year’s theme is “Jabberwocky.” Activities include dual-line kite demon strations, a kite ballet exhibition, Rokkaku battles, a kite buggy demon stration, kiteboarding exhibition, indoor flying instruction, Ducky Derby, kite collection exhibits, kanine kite kamival, and kite building workshops. Beginner and expert flyers are invited to participate. Awards will be given for best theme kite, best display, people’s choice, and other categories. Special attention is paid to kite shape and decoration. From time-to-time, kites of particular kinds will be flown in mass ascensions. This year’s featured fliers include international award winners Jose Sainz of San Diego and David Gomberg of Lincoln City. Penny Lingenfelter of Seattle will dazzle the crowd with her indoor/windless flying exhibition. The flying is never finer than in Lincoln City, voted as the best kite flying location in North America by Kitelines Magazine. The Lincoln City Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring the Ducky Derby, with 1,000 small, yellow rubber duckies available for purchase at $3 each or two for $5. On Sept. 20, the ducks will float down the D River in heats. The eventual first-place winner will receive $500, and prizes will be awarded for heats as well.
