It’s Happening at Chinook Winds in February ... Take Your Funny Valentine to Comedy on the Coast Comedy on the Coast is set for Feb. 14, 15, and 16 - three nights of fun featuring a trio of comedians in a 90-minute show. Kivi Rogers will headline the pro gram, with Bernie McGrenahan as the featured act and David Gee returning as host. Each will do a 30-minute spot. Kivi Rogers’ special skills include singing, black belt tae kwon do, computer lingo, dialects, and all sports. He’s been featured on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, The Comedy Show case, Def Comedy Jam and Comic View. He’s appeared as a guest star on Home Improvement, Sister, Sister, Soul Man and Everybody Loves Raymond; as guest lead on Diagnosis: Murder, and lead performer in The Patty Hearst Story. Personal appearances include the 1996 HBO/US Comedy Arts Festival; Improvs in Hollywood, Irvine, Brea, Las Vegas, Reno, Washington D.C., Tempe, Miami, and Cleveland; the Comedy and Magic Club; the Laugh Factory; the Comedy Corner; and numerous other venues. Bernie McGrenahan is one of the funniest comedians in America today. Discovered in a comedy contest by the legendary Steve Allen in 1992, Bernie’s high-energy style and timing have been compared to the best in the business. This Las Vegas favorite has performed with such greats as Rodney Dangerfield, Phyllis Diller, Juice Newton, and Little Anthony and the Imperials.
