TRIBAL MEMBER NEWS Chester Butler -1920-2002 Chester Butler was born Jan. 3, 1920, and died Sept. 18, 2002. He was preceded in death by his wife, Polly Case Butler; parents Jane Hollis and Bruce Butler Sr.; brothers Alton Butler, Everett Butler, and Bruce Butler Jr.; and sisters MaryAnn Butler-Brown and Victoria Butler-Ben. Richard L. Hostler -1933-2002 Richard L. Hostler, 69, of Siletz, Ore., died Sept. 26, 2002, in Corvallis, Ore. He was bom May 10, 1933, in Siletz, Ore., to Mary Estelle (Fairchild) and Leslie James Wallace. Survivors include a daughter, Kitti Hostler of Siletz; a sister, Vera Lafferty of Siletz; and a brother, Albert Wallace of McMinnville, Ore.; granddaughters, Natasha Kavanaugh and Shantel Hostler; a grandson, Elton Hostler; a niece, Violet Lafferty-Mobre; great-nieces, Heather Moore and Kim Olson; and great-nephews, Richard Lafferty, Robert Moore, and Leslie Wallace. At his request, no funeral services were held. Disposition was by cremation. Old Lane Photo Found In Loving Memory Once the mightiest stood in and around the valleys of these hills, the essence of the ocean is scented upon the winds. Man has the ability to give all that he's got when encountering the task of life; no one said it was to be easy. Never grovel or expect another to grovel before you. Toe the mark, and take it as it comes. Love is not verbal, it can only be shown in the caring, like the love of eagles or wolves. They mate for life. If one menalooses (changes worlds) then the mate stays in solitude, to meet the one they vowed their love to in the changing of worlds where love lives on. I was just going through some old I thought someone might be photos and found this one that Daniel’s interested in seeing the photo. The mother, Patricia Lane, gave us.
