Attractions to date have included R&B, monthly country dances, Comedy at the Coast, and big band concerts. Now it’s time for jazz and the inaugural of Cool Jazz on the Coast. On Oct. 19 from 7 p.m. to midnight, jazz lovers will have the opportunity to enjoy some of the best jazz on the West Coast. Performers will include Ruppert Blaze & the Swingline Cubs, Gordon Lee, a third surprise band, and special guest Jakki Ford. Cost per ticket is $ 12 in advance or $15 the day of the event. The concert will be held in the convention center, complete with no host bar and nightclub ambiance.
