TCP: W hat about the classrooms? I know a lot o f the chem istry classroom s will be updated, and w hen does that start? Cochran: Well that’s D ejardin phase two. It’s kind o f m ore o f a simple project because we know w here it’s going to go, it’s going to be on one side or the other on D ejardin, and a relatively simple design. That one is k ind o f a slam dunk, all things considered. TCP: Besides buildings, will there be any b o n d m oney for scholarships? C o ch ran : You can’t use bond m oney for schol arships, it has to be for capital. It can only be bricks and m o rtar and classrooms, all those things that you can touch. C o c h ran : W hen we built H arm ony cam pus, the college borrow ed th at money, like a m ortgage al m ost. So right now we have to m ake ou r m ortgage paym ents out o f o u r general fund, w hich m eans the m oney th at we used to operate the college, we’re going to refinance th at m oney using b o n d money. So the m oney th at we raised in the b o n d is going to pay the m ortgage.
