T he p rogram allow s a student to start th e app licatio n p rocess, gave and retu rn la te r to finish. In addition to th e C C C schol arship, th e college participates in the federal w ork-study program . W o rk -stu d y p ro v id e s e lig ib le stu d en ts fed erally fu n d ed jo b s through C C C . F urther financial assistance can be received in the form o f grants and fed etal direct lo a n s . T he cost to the college in allo cating funds for these avenues o f financial aid can be found in the school budget. C hris R obuck, director o f fis c a l services, figures o ut each year how m u ch financial aid the school w ill pay out. T h e form ula is based on how m uch m oney the college distributed in previous years and the grow th in student enrollm ent. “T he college gives th e m oney to th e student,” R o b u c k said, “an d is reim bursed from th e federal governm ent.” A ccording to th e annual b u d g et rep o rt, C C C fin an cial aid ex p en d itu res fo r th e 2012-13 school y ear to taled $31,211,104.
