T he p rogram allow s a student to
start th e app licatio n p rocess, gave

th e request.

the federal w ork-study program .

assistance can be received in the
form o f grants and fed etal direct
lo a n s .
T he cost to the college in allo
cating funds for these avenues o f
financial aid can be found in the
school budget.

c a l services, figures o ut each year
how m u ch financial aid the school
w ill pay out. T h e form ula is based
on how m uch m oney the college
distributed in previous years and
the grow th in student enrollm ent.
“T he college gives th e m oney to
th e student,” R o b u c k said, “an d
is reim bursed from th e federal
governm ent.”

school y ear to taled $31,211,104.
P ro jected financial aid totals áre
expected to b e over $33 m illion
for this school year.
