Unable to locate. 10-3-06 8:00 a.m. Staff member reported several skateboarders at Dye [Learning Center]. Gave warnings and con tacted one minor in pos sesion of tobacco. 10-4-06 12:42 p.m. Student reported possi ble drug use by students. 4:00 p.m. Student reported theft of vehicle while parked in Community Center park ing lot. They have coordinated with the American Red Cross to put togeth er this term’s blood drive. The blood drive will take place next Wednesday in the Gregory Forum, from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Students cap sign up until 2:30 p.m. that day, through the ASG office. “We coordinate with the Red Cross,” said ASG President Tim Lussier. “We set everything up, get the word out to students ... we do about everything except draw the blood.” Donors must be 16 years old and weigh at lea^t 110 pounds. The Red Cross says that before donating, students should have had a good night’s sleep and break fast or lunch. They should also drink extra water and fluids, and avoid fatty foods such as fries, hamburgers, or ice cream. At the blood drive, donors will ga through four different steps. They will register (if they haven’t already though ASG), have a healthy history and mini physical, donate blood, and then relax and have some refresh ments. “It’s important,” said Lussier, about donating blood. “People seem to have fun, and you can save lives.” - Compiled by Katie Wilson, The Clackamas Print CAMPUS NEWS à EVENTS Seasoned Adult Enrichment Program will discuss November ballot measures today at 9:30 a.m. in Room 191 at the Harmony Campus.
