She first visited the forum on April 10 and had been invited to post because of her “gift.” She has a rare endowment, one from which she seeks no recogni tion or praise. She has premoni tions or visions of an event, person or something that occupies her mind non-stop, but she does not want to be called a psychic. She merely wishes to use her gift to help the families. What she "saw" intrigued users on the forum. She drew up a sketch and profile of who she believes is the abductor of Gaddis and Pond. The following is an unedited copy of thè profile: The F.B.I has received over 2,800 tips and leads in this case, and this was just one forwarded to them. When asked to comment on this specific tip, the FB .1 would not com ment. “We don’t comment on specifics in a case. All we can say is there is a pool of people we’re looking at,”' said Beth Anne Steele, spokesper son for the F.B.I. This term, five students laid off from Freightliner and another four dis placed aluminum workers are taking the classes to learn new skills in their field of expertise. Bradley said this is possibly due to the poor economic state that Oregon is in. Enrollment dropped at the be ginning of the spring term, which it usually does, due to people haying the desire to show off their cars in the sun, finished or not. “People like to have fun,” joked Bradley. Currently, the paint class has 31 students enrolled, 13 above the normal capacity. Some classes are run simultaneously to accommodate the influx of students. “It is common to see 40 students and only two in structors,” said Bradley. “We’re busting out at the seams,” added Austen. The auto restoration class has Seen such an increase in its popular ity they’ve added a class during the evening—running simulta neously with the Street Rod III course—in order to meet the de mand. According to Bradley, stu dents have to move more cars in and out of the shop for each class. Additional classroom space would create a more successful learning environrrient for the stu dents and staff. And any extra space in the shop would allow the department to add new equipment and create a safer en vironment for everyone. “People are bumping into each other with their projects...it’s just not safe,” said Bradley.
