Recently, I have had some very intense conversa tions with friends about the meaning of love and the idea of Valentine’s Day. I know that many people have hardships about this day. Most of those people are the lonely people who do not have a significant other or they don’t even have a date. I, unfortunately, am one of those lonely people who have neither, but there is a twist: I do not believe that this holiday is just a bunch of hoopla. The quest for love is an ad venture that keeps the spirit of life continuing. So what if the media and corporate America take this holiday and make millions off of heart- shaped candies and cute little slogans? That happens on every holiday, whether we like it or not. Valentine’s Day is to cel ebrate love. Sure, I get lonely every once in a while. How take some advice. Don’t go rent ever, not any more than the a bunch of sad romantic movies, next single person does. I just because it is not going to help don’t understand why people your cause.
