The sculpture shpw was arranged by Les Tipton and Rick True, both Clackamas i ®nmuni ty College professors in art center. Centering on «^■onal artists, invitations were sent as far south as Bend, Oregon an J extended as far north as >®kane, Washington. The in- 'imtions were sent to sculptors ’ ®wn by Tipton and True, in- : eluding a few alumni of gBckamas Community College, jwhe showing, running from Jan. 5 until Jan. 30, was organiz- edlo promote the new sculpture garden outside of the ELC. It is hoped that the sculpture in Paul ing will spark some inspirations for the new garden. Sculpture is not just carving things out of stone, it has many different styles. The Pauling ex- hibit displaying many of these varied styles includes: cast bronze, “American Cat” and ‘wrihelios; found object,” “modern Pet”; marble, “Voyager”; and mixed media, “ascension.” These are just to ^He a few. ^Kulpture is one way for an ar- tist to display his or her personal self without using words.
