Howling Gael: ‘Rant and Roar’ Members of the group Howling Gael will be performing tonight. The group is made up of Patrick Salisich, dulcimer, guitar and bodran; Lex Browning, fiddle^ guitar, mandolin, and banjo; Robin Banks McRevey, accordian and brodran; Bob Kotta, guitar, mandolin, and tenor banjo and Paul Susen, electric bass, fiddle, mandolin and guitar. The group has a blending of “Traditional music has a lot to say and Howling Gael says it with style and talent,” says John Wendeborn from the Oregonian about the music group Howling Gael. The fivesome will be this month’s Chamber Music Con cert guests at the College. They will perform Feb. 7 at 7:30 p.m. in the Community Center Fireside Lounge. Music clinic to be staged on campus On Thursday, Feb. 9, the campus will be literally clut tered with the presence of high schoolers to take in the sights and sounds of the music department, and guest musicians during a music clinic. LeRoy Anderson, Music Director, has arranged the clinic so that high school students from all around the area will be able to get a taste of the more, sophisticated music through the college band.
