An earth tremor, which was dis tin ct in southern Oregon early Sunday morning, was also felt here. Curtis Veatch, who is on the old Veateh homestead west of town, was awakened at 1:30 a. m. Sunday by the quake. Mr. Veatch said the shock was very brief, but was sufficient to wake him. He said he experienced the same sen sation as if he were on a bridge and felt the tread of a cat or dog walking over the bridge.
