Wright at Walker. Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Duerst and children were Sunday visitors at the A. Hands home in Cottage ’ Grove. Mrs. Thena Miller anil Perkins Miller visited Sunday with Mrs. Matilda Jones in Cottage Grove, A farewell party was given at the Jacob Jones home Saturday evening. The Jones family leaves this week to live in Eugene. John Cowing Jr. and two friends, of Portland, who were on their way to California, spent a few days at the George Duerst home. Miss Uleta Miller was home from Cottage Grove for the week ead. Louis Lang of Mount View Monday with her sister, George Duerst. Mrs. A. 8. S. Cruson home at Lorane. WILDWOOD. (Special to The 8entinel.) Oct. 21.—Loren Hunt visited the Wildwood school Monday and spoke to the pupils. Mr. and Mrs. George Smith have ¡ taken their daughter Letha to Salem to attend the state school for the blind. A number of improvements have been made to the grounds and building of the Wildwood school. Mrs. M. E. DeGraw, teacher of the local school, has been busy, with her pupils, preparing for the Hal loween box social Saturday night, October 31. The school has set a high figure for attendance for the first month, the daily average being 99.6. SAGINAW. (Special to The Sentinel.) Oct. 21.—F. T. Benston, post master at Saginaw, has moved the postoffice to his new building at the intersection of the Delight valley road with the Pacific high way. Mrs. Sylvia Rathbeen visited at the home of her aunt, Mrs. Aden Miller, at Walker Monday. Vern and Ernest Briggs, Granta Pass, were visiting in neighborhood Sunday. D. W.
