evening. The Jones family leaves

John Cowing Jr. and two friends,
of Portland, who were on their way
to California, spent a few days

Oct. 21.—Loren Hunt visited the
Wildwood school Monday and spoke
to the pupils.
Mr. and Mrs. George Smith have

Salem to attend the state school
for the blind.
A number of improvements have
been made to the grounds and
building of the Wildwood school.
Mrs. M. E. DeGraw, teacher of
the local school, has been busy, with
her pupils, preparing for the Hal­
loween box social Saturday night,
October 31.
The school has set a high figure
for attendance for the first month,
the daily average being 99.6.
