Change in the McKenzie high way on both sides of Blue river will be made this year, according to members of the county court who were in that locality recently. | Plans were laid to obtain the right-' of-way for the changes but. no agreement was reached with the property owners. The sharp turn in the road just ' west of the bride at Blue river! will be eliminated and the angle j of the bridge will be changed. A | new bridge will have to be built in the near future. An abrupt turn at the eastern edge of the1 town will also be eliminated and some additional land will have to j be obtained there. Divorce Figures Are Given. Statistics on divorce decrees granted in Lane county during 1924 have been prepared at the office of County Clerk Bryson for the government census bureau. The re port shows that of the 116 divorces granted, 86 were obtained by wives and 30 by husbands, The report also reveals that the percentage of divorce increases in inverse ratio to the number of children, Of the 116 couples divorced, «3 had no minor children, 28 had one child, 14 two children, five had three children, three couples had four children and one couple had six minor children.
