Now business wan 3 per reut below production. Shipments nero 4 per cent below new business. Forty four per cent of all new business taken during the week was for future water delivery. This amounted to . 40,930,880 feet, of which 27,700,441 foot was for do mestic cargo delivery; and 13,2.30, 139 feet export. New business by rail amounted to 1,561 cars. Thirty seven per cent of the lum ber shipment« moved by water. Thia amounted to 32,830,058 feet, of which 28.950,391 feet mos ed coastwise and intereeastal; and 3,880,207 feet export. Rail ship meats totaled 1,693 cars. Local auto and team deliverii •s totaled 5,025,453 feet. Unfilled domestic cargo orders totaled 135,929,43.3 feet. Unfilled export orders 111,692,466 feet Un filled rail trade onion, 4,967 cars. In the first seven weeks of the year, production reported to West Coast Lumbermen’s association ha* l*een 655,228.426 feet; new business 609,805,397 feet; and shipments 658376,689 fact.
