Cathleen Callahan - I am a trusted, fair and well known member of the community, and have a solid reputation as an attorney, small business owner and someone who is engaged in the community. I am the only candidate who is firmly invested and committed to Columbia County and has been for over a decade. I know the Columbia County community, its people, its problems and its resources. My community activities include Columbia County United Way, Columbia County Legal Aid, SAFE, South Columbia County Chamber of Commerce, Rotary, and Columbia Humane Society. These organizations are all community based and all are trying to make our communities successful and prosperous. This community service has educated me about the social problems that give rise to the cases coming before the court. My life experiences, education and legal experience all qualify me for the position but my comprehensive understanding of Columbia County, and my reputation of integrity, compassion, maturity, patience and a proven track record of working with individuals from all walks of life is something my opponents do not possess.
