4 city and community news august1 2013 The Vernonia High School Class of 1968 It’s Time for the Class of 1978 35 th Class Reunion The VHS Class of ‘78 would like to invite the classes of 1977 and 1979 to join them in celebrating their 35 th Class Reunion on Saturday August 31 st . Come join your friends and classmates at the new school from 1:00 to 3:30 PM. Then head over to the Scout Cabin for dinner starting at 4:00 PM; $10 per person potluck/ BBQ. Please bring your favorite side dish. Smoked pig will be provided; alcohol is permitted so BYOB. There will be videos of football-hopefully including tapes of the ‘77-’78 state playoff games. Then we’ll finish the party at our own Ernie Smith’s bar, The All In Pub and Eatery.
