Branded for life. The world famous Harlem Crowns brought their unique style of basketball and entertainment to the Vernonia High School Gym- nasium on December 8, 2012. The Crowns faced off against the Mighty Vernonia Scepters, a team of local basketball all-stars, coached by local legends Steve Whiteman and Larry Steele. Justin Ward and Matt Blair were the referees. The Crowns used basketball skill, showmanship and lots of audience participa- tion to thrill the crowd and put a smile on everyone’s face. The event was a fundraiser for the 2013 VHS Prom. Waterfall, nothing can harm me at all, My worries seem so very small With my waterfall.
