rainbows, the natural power, the green is
so bright, I feel I need sunglasses, green-
glasses.
Sitting at the bottom, eating lunch,
as the sounds, mist, and rainbows radiated
over us. Truly an unforgettable lifetime
experience.
Especially not rushing, giving the
nature full attention, taking the time to let
it soak in. Spend a few hours to let it per-
meate you. Healthy vibrations. It becomes
part of your soul. Branded for life.
The world famous Harlem
Crowns brought their unique style
of basketball and entertainment to
the Vernonia High School Gym-
nasium on December 8, 2012.
The Crowns faced off against
the Mighty Vernonia Scepters, a
team of local basketball all-stars,
coached by local legends Steve
Whiteman and Larry Steele.
Justin Ward and Matt Blair were
the referees. The Crowns used
basketball skill, showmanship
and lots of audience participa-
tion to thrill the crowd and put
a smile on everyone’s face. The
event was a fundraiser for the
2013 VHS Prom.
Waterfall, nothing can harm me at all,
My worries seem so very small
With my waterfall.
I can see my rainbow calling me
Through the misty breeze
Of my waterfall.
Some people say day-dreaming’s
For the lazy minded fools
With nothing else to do.
So let them laugh, laugh at me,
So just as long as I have you
To see me through,
I have nothing to lose ‘long as I have you.
Waterfall, don’t ever change your ways.
Fall with me for a million days,
Oh, my waterfall.
- Jimi Hendrix - “ May This Be Love “
