In Memory of... Donald Eugene Wilson Donald Eugene Wilson was born June 20, 1949 in Portland, OR. He died March 14, 2012 in Portland from complications of prostate cancer. He was 62 years old. Funeral services were held in Aloha, OR at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Internment was at Skyline Memorial Cemetery. Mr. Wilson was reared in Vernonia and was the senior class president of the VHS graduating class of 1967. He attended Portland State College and University. obituaries/classified ads He received his MFA from Brigham Young University. He was an architectural/theatrical lighting designer. His hobbies were composing/arranging music, playing piano, harpsichord and the organ. He had played the sousaphone and tuba in the VHS band. He also enjoyed photography and art, watching movies and plays and directing and performing in live theatre. He was preceded in death by his father, Wilbur Wilson. He is survived by his wife Lynn, Aloha OR; daughters, Kindra Wilson and Keira Wilson of Aloha OR ; son, Stuart and daughter in-law Lindy and granddaughter Clara Elaine Wilson of Rexburg, ID; son Garret Wilson USMC Afganistan; his mother Z. June Wilson of Vernonia; brothers Robb of Vernonia and Brian of Portland and sister Lori of Broomfield, CO. Remembrances are suggested to Vernonia Hands on Art. Bob is survived by his wife of 59 years Jean Ann Borders; three sons Bob and his wife Robbie of Baker City, Steve of Vernonia, and David of Lebanon; five grandchildren Jenette of Molalla, Jess of Banks, Kevin of Miyagi, Japan, Tom of Eugene, and Breanne of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho; and eight great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, April 14th at the Elm Street Baptist Church in Sweet Home.
