12 community july12 2011 Booster’s Buzz Baseball—Vernonia Baseball would like to thank everyone that helped with the fireworks booth this year. Our fundraiser was a big success and would not have been possible without the many hours of volunteer time that so many people gave! A special thanks to public works for hanging our sign and to Brooke Morrison for taking the responsibility to load and unload all of the fireworks each day! Congratulations go out to Jenny Glass for winning the drawing of the American Pride firework pack. The pack was worth about $200.00! Congrats Jenny. And finally a big thanks to Dick Titus for the use of his downtown property where we set up the booth!
