Although Sadie Hawkin’s Day has brought about a lot of new friendships at the same time some couples have dissolved — Judy Brear and Harold Adrian— Don Thompson and Marilyn Harr —Shirley Williams and Don Pen ney are some examples. We hear that certain members of the girls’ chorus are anxiously awaiting the day when the boys’ and4 girls’ choruses combine to start practice for the Christmas Cantata. Our guess is that there will be a lot more than singing going oh. Lester Louden is to be envied these days. Not all boys in school have a secret admirer. We happen to know that a certain girl has latelv shown a preference for bass voices. Could it be that the bass we’re think ing of is Roy Shearer? Looks like someone who likes to cut hair hit some of our boys. What a gruesome sight! Joon Garner is on the lookout for a guy. She’s lonesome. That bashful Artie Wheldon kid is surely making eyes at some girls in sixth period biology class* none other than our little Joanne Baker. Looks like Marian Yeaple has her eyes on a senior lad. Could it be? But, no, that would be telling. Good luck, Marian. We know it’s Twirp Season, Roberta Rowly, but don’t you know that Mr. Jlyde is already married? Some »girls give up but not Peggy Lander. She will fight to the end to get her man. Keep trying, Peg. You are still young. Who is that certain boy who asked Beth Church to go to a party? She surely is keeping it a secret. Fred Myer won out after all, and Darlene Britton doesn’t look a bit unhappy about it. Doing your Christmas shop ping early? Drop into Bernie Herrmann's for a varied array of gifts for everyone. And while you are dropping, don’t forget the gossip box by the bulletin board next to Mr. Hyde’ room. Pd.
