Most of these fashion opinions were very far fetched, according to West Linn girls. Imagine going to school' in long stockings and wearing hats. My, what a world! Also, accord ing to this article, the fad for sloppy Joe sweaters is dying a horrible death, however, from the looks of things around school these sloppy Joes are still quite the proper thing. Sharthuse is definitely a popular color. Many a girl now proudly wears a preshy sharthuse sweater. Yes, and who wouldn’t look adorable in the pretty plaid skirts the girls wear recently. We have seen a few suits but most girls think they are better worn for dress. As for the make of sweaters, Jantzen’s and Cashmiers (oh joy) seem to be the top peak of fash ions. White wooden shoes are adorable and a few saddles have taken their stand. Of course the strollers are tops for the girls’ vote. Now shall we look at the 1945 boys’, styles. Have you ever seen Harmon Marshall’s baish sweat er, he looks pretty handsome in it, too. A few other nice sweaters that we’ve seen on the boys • is Paul Sunquist’s light green sweater and also Jay’s. Ronnie Baird has a beautiful maroon one and Hal’s baish one is the sole attraction of many girls. The boys never cease to be awed by the size of the suit cases females of today carry. They wonder how on earth the girls «can get so much to fill- them, but we surprise them, don’t we, girls? And one more thing. Some girls need to watch their hair dos. Keep them simple and you are bound to put that bdy in a daze.
