F . J. C rear at whose church the services were held. The services were con ducted by Rev. Wilbert Hardy of Mt. £lanl Church of God in Christ, and a close friend of the C rear family. The Groom is the son of M r. k M rs. John W. Walton of San Fran cisco, California. The bride wore a beautiful pink- lace gown. The bridal parry was pink and blue. The maid of honor was Miss Kathryn Phillips of Her- kley, C alif. The bridesmaids were as follows: Fay Webster, Lillian Brewster, A lice (Cession, and Moonie Ashberry. Best man was Charles Sims. Ushers: Rufus C rear, brother of the bride, Fran cis Brewster, W illis Allen, Green Ashberry. The Groom 's m other.M rs. J. W. Walton arrived in Portland with the bride a week before the wed ding and was a guest in the C rear home. On May 24, M rs. D. Lanier k daughter, M rs. C. Stiggers enter tained with a luncheon at her home the bride & groom , bride's parents, and the groom 's mother. The newly weds w ill make their home in San Francisco, C alif, where the groom is in the real estate business with his father. The Bride wore a white lace over net gown the way to a man's heart is thru his stomach, Soooo with veil and white. The vows said in the lower level, It was well attended.
