Notice is hereby given. That under

the Circuit Court of Oregon for Jack-
son County, made and entered of rec­
ord in the Journal of said court upon
the 14th day of November, 1923, in

Kelly M. Duncan and Susie Duncan,
his wife, are plaintiffs, and Emma
Witten, a ’ widow, Letha Grieve
and Frank Grieve, her husband,
Carvel Thornton and Merrick Thorn-
ton, Blanche Stanley and John Doe
Stanley, her husband, Ethel Stand-
ard, a single woman, and J. Edward
Thornton are defendants, the under­
signed referee duly appointed by the
said court to sell the hereinafter de­
scribed real property belonging to the
said parties to said suit, will, on the 6th
day of September, 1924, at ten o’clock
in the forenoon of said day, at the front
door of the Court House, in the town
of Jacksonville, Jackson County, Ore­
gon, sell at public auction, to the high­
est bidder for cash, the following de­
scribed real property situate on Oak
Street, in the City of Ashland, Jackson
County, Oregon, and which premises
are commonly known as the Standard
property, and which premises are
particularly described in Volume 146,
at pages 500-1 of the Deed Records of
Jackson County, Oregon, to which said
deed records reference is hereby par­
ticularly made for a more complete and
