The nature and scop? of the movement, being explained .and the requirements being made known, 22 qualified as tenderfeet. Out of this 22 seven h we qualified as Second Class Scouts and will receive the certificates and badges as such as scon as they come to hand. The names of the seven are Noble Caughtheran, Charlie Ellis. Ivan Collins, Dan Bag shaw, Herbert Mitchell, Glenn Collins, Albert Mitchell. Mr. Editor, I- wish to take off my hat to these seven boys, because with- i out the usual inducements of candy I suppers and social attractions and in I the face of a good deal that was dis couraging, they .have accomplished so much. ,Tis true more than seven might have been induced to qualify by introducing a spirit of .competition or rivalry, but this is contrary to the spirit of the movement.
