Not long after the editor's re turn home, Deacon Jones, the village celebrity, was taken seri ously ill, and the editor promptly posted the following bulletins: 10:00 a. m. Deaeon Jones no better. 11:00 a.m. Deacon Jones has a relapse. 12:30 p. m. Deacen Jones failing, pulse weaker. 2:15 p. m. Deacon Jones' fam ily summoned. 3:15 p. m.
