Again and again this institution has appealed to the country press for support, but when thej have money to spend lor advertis ing it is spent with the ' Ready Print' concern, ana the ads placed in the patent insides over which the country papers have no control and lrom which they derive no revenue, ihe coun try press should remember this policy of the State .Normal when the next request lor support comes. Aurora Observer. The country publishers are to blame for this condition. As long as they use the "ready prints" they should not complain. Three newspapers in Polk county, with a possi ble combined circulation of 1200, use "ready prints." The Normal authorities think they are getting very cheap advertising at two cents per inch per paper, not knowing that not ISO of the 1200 ever read the "ready print In a few years, all county officers will be elect ed as non-partisans. The party label will be banished. When that time comes, better men will be elected and better service will be given.
