(New York Press.) If a girl's eyes cross she can think they do It In a very coquettish way. The way a man can keep on being craxy over a girl Is for her to keep on being crazy over some other fel low. The honeymoon Is mostly over when the couple quit buying their meals In hotels and the bride tries to provide them at home. The reason a woman wants to get clothes In the very newest fashion Is so as to go and call In them on all her friends who haven't got them yet. No matter how clever a man knows his wife Is it makes him groan to have her ask him to explain why a company he has stock In Is sot try ing to cheat him when It calls Its surplus a liability. Department Store Premium. The Georgia editor who announc ed that he couldn't give a sewing machine to every cash subscriber should read the following story: "A solicitor for tbe Lawrence Journal called on a woman the oth er day to ask her to take the paper and have it delivered to her home every evening. 'Not me,' said the madam. 'I've just subscribed for another paper, and they a,ave a "God Bless Our Home" motto, a kitchen range, some fly paper, a rainy-day skirt, an Ice pick, a picture ot Ed ward Bok crossing the Delaware In a gilt frame, and send me to the next exposition throwed in.' " Trouble With Weeds. Welborn Beeson of Talent, who was recently In Douglas county, tells that the people up there are very much wrought up over the fact that the Tipton, or Trass, weed Is mak ing disastrous Inroads on the stock ranges. In some localities Mr. Bee- son stated, the entire range Is ruined by this weed. Not Coughing Today? Yet you may cough tomorrow! Better be prepared for it when it comes.
