Doors open at 7 p.m., and the show starts at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are available at the EOU Bookstore, La Grande Stereo & Music and at the door. Cost is $20 general, $15 for students and seniors. Tiller’s Folly was founded 23 years ago. The band’s style of music is described as “acoustic roots, Celtic, Canadiana and Americana.” Two youth plays scheduled for Feb. 20-23 BAKER CITY — Eastern Oregon Regional Theatre, based in Baker City, will present two youth productions this month. From Feb. 20-23, each night features two plays: “The Fisherman and His Wife” and “The Twilight Cone.” Performances are at 7 p.m. Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, and at 3 p.m. Sunday at the EORT theater space at 2101 Main St. Tickets are $10 adults, $5 stu- dents, $25 for a family of two adults FEB 14-20 ELTRYM HISTORIC THEATER a brief look at what’s happening in northeast oregon and two children. Free movie and pizza for teens at the library JOSEPH — The news is full of fi res in Australia, and several Oregon fi refi ghters have seen them fi rsthand. The next Brown Bag at the Josephy Center in Joseph will feature two of these fi refi ghters. The gathering is at noon Feb. 18. Nathan Goodrich, Fire Manage- ment Offi cer for the Wallowa Fire Zone since 2007, recently returned from a tour in Australia where he was an Operations Section Chief stationed a few hours north of Sydney in the Hunter Valley. He was with an incident management team responsible for overseeing nu- merous fi res in New South Wales. Goodrich has been back for a few weeks. He will be joined by Todd Peterson, who works with him at Wallowa Fire Zone and also went to Australia. Due back just before the 18th, Peterson will bring fresh news from this awful series of devastating fi res. The Brown Bag Lecture Series is free and open to the public. Bring a lunch or snack if you like. LA GRANDE — The Union County Safe Communities Coali- tion sponsors a monthly movie at Cook Memorial Library, 2006 Fourth St., for teens. The Third Friday Teen Movie Night this month is on Feb. 21. The free event is held in the library’s Community Room beginning at 6 p.m. In addition to the movie, there will be popcorn and free pizza (courtesy of Domino’s Pizza). Teens also can play a bingo game as they watch the movie for a chance to win prizes. Swing and line dancing night set for Feb. 22 BAKER CITY — Shane Cun- ningham will lead the monthly country Western swing and line dance on Feb. 22 at Churchill Dancehall, 3451 Broadway St. (en- ter through the 16th Street parking lot), Baker City. All ages are welcome. The doors open at 7 p.m., and dancing goes until 10 p.m. Cost is $3 singles, $5 couples and families. The topic is wildlife of Southern Africa. “Stories from the Okavango: The Exquisite Wildlife of Southern Africa” will be presented by Donna Rainboth, assistant professor of sci- ence education at EOU, and James McIver, PhD, entomologist and research professor at OSU.
