Others in this remake include Andy Serkis as the Ghost of Christ- mas Past, Joe Alwyn (“The Favourite”) as Bob Cratchit, Scrooge’s put-upon clerk; and Stephen Graham (“Line of Duty”) as Jacob Marley, Scrooge’s deceased partner. 8 p.m. on NBC The 2020 Miss America Competition Continuing a long tradition, 51 hope- fuls from across the United States compete in a series of categories for potentially life-changing scholarships in a pageant held at the Mohegan Sun in Uncasville, Conn. The preliminary competition encompasses private interviews with judges, on-stage in- terviews, a talent competition and a “social impact pitch.” At the climax of the evening, Miss America 2019, Nia Franklin of New York, will crown her successor. 8:30 p.m. on ABC Prep & Landing: Naughty vs. Nice The yuletide adventures of Christmas elves Lanny and Wayne continue with this animated special. With the Big 2-5 fast approaching, Wayne and Lanny must race to recover classified North Pole technology that has fallen into the hands of a Naughty Kid.
