But Butler left no doubt that he was ready to throw open bids to other cities for the convention it his allocation to no more than 1,500 tickets to the Los Angeles host committee was not accepted. "There is no question of a com promise," he said. "We can't bring tickets out of a hat." lie flew here late Thursday night from Washington when the intra-party squabble which has been brewing for months flared OFFERS JOURNALISM COURSE PK1NCETON, N. J. L'Pl Princeton University will offer a course in Journalism and public relations for the first time during the coming year. However, no per manent appointment was announc ed. local civic leaders. They claim the host committee was promised 5.000 tickets to the convention by the national committee last Feb. 27. In an odd coincidence, oilman Edwin Pauley treasurer of the host committee and major spokes man for the S.OOO-ticket demand- arrived at International Airport within two minutes after Butler. While a crowd of reporters and local party leaders crowded around Butler, whose plane was four hours late, Pauley left the plane bringing him from Mexico Child's Body Found In Creek Near Boise BOISE. He had returned here for a meeting with Butler, claiming tie was willing to negotiate despite his claims of having documentary proof that the national committee guaranteed the host committee 5,000 tickets. Pauley already has expressed his aporoval of a compromise by poulson whereby the host com mittee would accept J.133 tickets. But Butler remuined adamant. "The national committee never made commitments in excess of 1,500 tickets," he said. "The na tional committee is not desirous of being a'bitrary. unreasonable, but we know what we can do.
