He is being held for appearance in city court to day, police records show. SIX FINED Edward Turlock, La Grande, was fined $8 in jus tice court yesterday for not hav ing an operator's license. Gor man Harris, La Grande, was fined $7.50 for not having brand inspection, Lawrence Mardis, La Grande, was fined $7.50 on a charge of having only ono license plate, Marvin Lagore, North Powder, was fined $4 for not having an operator's license. Gordon N. Hall, La Grande, was fined $7.50 after pleading guilty to a charge of permitting an un licensed person to drive his car, und Willard Carey, La Grande, was fined $10 for violating 'the basic rule.
