Funeral Held For Mrs- Mary Harris Resident of Cove COVE July 6 (Special) Fu neral services for Mrs. Mary Har ris were held in Cove Saturday afternoon in the Methodist church and burial was in . the Cove cemetery. Railroads ToKSave Much More Space WASHINGTON, July 6 (UP) Summer travel plans of American civilians took another jolt today with news Pullman space for non-military users wJU be out at least 50 percent .during the next three months. Because of the unexpected swiftness of army redeployment, the nation's railroads are starting right now to reserve 75 percent of their 6,000 Pullman cars for troops. More, the army will take 100 percent if it's needed. Previously, military travel re quired anywhere up to 50 percent of total Pullman space. But the redeployment peak, originally scheduled for October, is coming this month instead, according to the office of defense transporta tion. Revenue Carloading Increases in Week WASHINGTON, July 6 (UP) Loadings of revenue freight in the week ended June 30 totaled 893,741 cars, the most since the week ended April 28, the Associa tion of American Railroads dis closed today. This volume represents an in crease of 17,299 cars over the preceding week but a decrease of 3,469 from the corresponding 1944 week. Loadings for the year to date aggregated 21,7.61,945 cars com pared with 21,285,302 in the cor responding 1944 period.
