Arleen and Rena Choate of Summervllle, the Blockland boys of Island - City and Jean Ann. Richards exhibited some fine Hereford animals. In fact Jean Ann's Hereford wears a blue ribbon.) A. mem bers held a meeting at the Union ho tel in the evening and reports of work done in each of the chapters were given. Among the speakers who gave brief talks to the boys were Herb Chandler, D. One Bel gian" horse In the Pondosa exhibit weighs 2200 pounds and is a fine ani mal to look at. Jock Hensley of La Grande has a good-looking team of Clydesdales and John Peterson, a fine registered Belgian stallion. In the light bone class, are some promising looking animals, Mildred Standley has a neve saddle horse that makes a line show anlmul. Gus Levy, of Baker, has a string of naddle horaea as has the Conley brothers of Cove. Tho classes of fat lambs and hogs sponsored by the Blue Mountain Livestock;7 Shipping association are well filled, there being nine pe"8 01 fat lambs and several of hogs. Leonard Huffman, of the Eastern Oregon Meat market, bought him at a good price. Donald Ward. Union P. F. A. mem ber, exhibited a prize winning regis tered Hampshire sow. and her litter of ten husky youngsters also won a blue ribbon. Mm. Joe Johnson, of Wallowa, also ah F. F. A. member, took second on a Duroc bow and HtJ ter of eight pigs. This la th first year that F. F. A. members have ex hibited beef 'stuff. Josephine Fisher, of Allcel, showed a prize winning ewe yesterday and today she Is quite proud over a new baby lamb that arrived at the oho,v grounds during the night.
