MurchiFon as alternates to the com ing meeting of tho Oregon State grange, the election of Mrs. Frank Jasper as "Flora," tho conferring of tho fifth degree on two candldatea, O. W. Clark and Mrs. Grace Love, and the reinstatement of Olenn Nice and the regular routine of business and ritualistic- procoeduro. In entertaining tho county organ ization Saturday, members of Mt. Fanulo grange proved themselves the meat gracious of hosts and merited tho resolutions given them. Tho re cent addition of a largo and airy kit chen, made tlw entertainment a sim ple mat tor and the work was so well organized that tho Immense rooat chicken dinner served at noon to j about 75 people and the supper terv- ed to about 50 people required a minimum of time and an absence of confusion of any kind. Great quan tities of jonquils and daffodils made up the decorations. While the Pomona master. L. F. Wright, presided during tho business cessions, the Pomona lecturer, Mra. R. O. Elgin Methodists Plan Big Easterday ELGIN (Special) Easter services at tho Elgin Mot hod lob church prom ise much of Interest. The first ser vice of the day will be the sunrise prayer meeting at 6:30 o'clock at the church. This will be followed by a waffle breakfast served at the home of Mrs. Mary Smith. This Is an an nual custom of several years stand ing. Sunday school will convene at 10 o'clock as usual, followed by preach ing at the regular hour by C. E. Cal- ame. Immediately at tho conclusion of this meeting, Mr. Oalome as well as all members who care to, will drive to FalrvieW church in the Scott district on Cricket Flat. At evening, tho entire time usually taken up Jy the Epworth league and preucliliig services will be occuplttl by an Easter program given under the direction of Miss Marie Oalame.
