P. Leslie, of the Hrfbrau. The police chief re ported approval of Mr. Leslie's appli cation except a-3 to tho partition which was held as partially obstruct ing the view of the interior, and also objected to the height of booths, which are more than 42 Inches. The upshot of the matter was that tn commission referred tho matter to the police chief and city recorder, witn power to act as quickly as Mr. Leslie alters his place to conform with the city ordinance. Attorney Burleigh represented Mr. Leslie at the session, making an earnest plea for immediate endorsement. The commission held to tho attitude that each place must conform, with city rulings before the commissioners would feel justified In endorsing their applications to the state. Tho commission. approved the city onlary list for the month of February In the amount of $4,680.03, and the city manager's report revealed $2, 491.37 in warrants -l-oUred during the week. The methods are so different that a dilfcrcnt coffee is required for each. In a drip coffee maker, boiling water drips ONLY ONCP. through a coffee specially prepared to yield its flavor QUICKLY. In it percolator, water passes many times through a coffee prepared to yield its flavor slowly. The same coffee can be used for both methods, but like a "Jack-of-all-tradcs" it is "master of none" neither drip nor percolator. In one or the other, little things happen. It's a little weak, or a little strong, or a little cloudy, or it has a little less flavor. It's these little things that make or mar good coffee. Be sure to use the correct coffee for each method. ...
