In Massachusetts, Connecticut and Eastern New York they are taking It on the lam. Not all squirrels; Just the gray squirrels. A woman motorist reported seeing hundreds of them scampering acroea the Bear mountain bridge over the Hudson river, she had to drive care fully, she sold, to avoid running them down. His friends say ' that he has re fused to "play politics" in carrying out his varied duties and that this caused him no end of trouble In bis nine months in office.
