Hauling usually begins during the month of August and continues until the snow be comes too deep for further work In the mountains. During the fall and winter of 1033 permits were i.isv.el for over 800 cords of wo:d and with wood cut on private property tlw tot'l was estimated at almoit 1O0O cords.
