Of Wood Taken
From Mill Cany.
OOVB (Special) WooH hauling Is
again on In full swing. Between 12
and 16 cords of wood are being
hauled out or the two forks of -Mill
creek oajiyon dally. Hauling usually
begins during the month of August
and continues until the snow be
comes too deep for further work In
the mountains. During the fall and
winter of 1033 permits were i.isv.el
for over 800 cords of wo:d and with
wood cut on private property tlw
tot'l was estimated at almoit 1O0O
cords. Most , of this wood Is hauled
down Mill crook canyon.

the farthest removed, from the head
quarters In Portland.
