H. Townsend. secretary of the Hardwood Manufacturers' Insti tute. Townsend said last week 25 mills Wgsn working double shifts employed a total of 1000 men and that pro duction for the week ending June 13 showed an Increase of 42 per cent over the corresponding week of 1932.
