Two Horseshoe Champions Give Exhibition Here Two leading exponents1 of the grand old game of horseshoes, arrived In La Grande today and gave their first exhibition at 2:30 at the olty courts back of the municipal build ing tills afternoon, while the second will be an event of 7 o'clock this evo nlng. Ouy L. Zimmerman, of 8aa City, Iowa, and C. E. Jackson, of Kel Jerton, Iowa, are reputed to be the world's beat exhibition horseshoe pitchers, and will, In addition to giv ing an exhibition, meet all comers. r Mr. Jackson was champion of Iowa and for Illinois for two years each, and has defeated Putt Mosaman, for mer world's chamlplon, and Blair N una maker, present champion.
